SKILLS TRANSFER PROGRAM

ST Nubian Architects integrates students into different project teams as part of our internal skills development program. At present, the company is developing such programs with the Tshwane University of Technology.

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) includes theoretical forms of learning that are appropriate for technical/professional qualifications and includes problem-based learning (PBL) and project based learning (PJBL). WIL places a strong emphasis on the integrative aspects of learning. It is best described as an educational approach that aligns academic and workplace practices for the mutual benefit of students and workplaces.

WIL is based on the principal that learning should be appropriate to obtain a qualification and should be assessed wherever it takes place or is provided.
